Covid-19 tore into the nation as three prominent Nigerians were accounted for to have died on Sunday, July 5, because of coronavirus complication. The three victim are Professor Godwin Achinge, J. A deputy vice chancellor of Benue State University, Makurdi, Achinge's Covid-19 status was affirmed by Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state hours before his demise. Shalanga, on different hands, is the state manager of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in Zamfara, overseeing the spread and control of the infection in the state. His passing was affirmed by Zamfara state chief of wellbeing, Alhaji Yahaya Kanoma, who said the NCDC administrator fell sick and was rushed to Yariman Bakura Specialist medical clinic Gusau for treatment.
